SB 1 - Sen. Robert Duncan (R, Lubbock): Enables the Comptroller to certify the budget and gives direction on how to spend the allocated funds.

Senate Bill 1 enables the budget that was passed during the regular session.  It also directs the Comptroller on where to allocate the funds.

  • House Conferees are: Pitts, Eissler, Geren, Otto and Villarreal.
  • Senate did not concur with House amendments; Conferees are: Duncan, Deuell, Hinojosa, Shapiro and Williams.
  • PASSED THE HOUSE on June 10, 2011 with amendments.
  • PASSED THE SENATE on June 3, 2011.
